The suspension period correlates with the unpaid amount, with one day of suspension for every 50 lei owed. Local tax authorities will track unpaid fines and issue payment notices within 30 days. If fines remain unpaid after 90 days, the suspension will begin, and drivers can regain their licenses by paying the full amount. Partial payments will adjust the suspension duration accordingly.
