Nine firefighters from Bihor County are heading to Serbia to assist in combating wildfires affecting the region. They will work for ten days alongside Romanian and Serbian teams. Romania has deployed a specialized module of 69 personnel and 15 technical means, including an aerial component with a Black Hawk helicopter. The mission marks the helicopter's first international deployment, highlighting Romania's operational capabilities. The request for assistance came from Serbian authorities through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism.
