The updated draft of the public sector salary law has been published, proposing a new salary calculation system to take effect on December 1, 2026. It maintains an 1:8 salary ratio and sets a reference value of 4,100 lei for 2027. Salaries will be calculated based on this reference and specific coefficients for each occupational family. The project aims to address existing salary inequalities and aligns with the National Recovery and Resilience Plan's requirements. The final version will be determined after parliamentary discussions.
