Nouă hotărâre care stabilește un plan etapizat de măsuri pentru a asigura debitul de apă necesar funcționării în siguranță a Centralei de la Cernavodă

The National Committee for Emergency Situations has approved a phased plan to ensure water supply for the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant due to expected low Danube water levels. The plan includes temporary interventions to direct more water to the plant's intake. If water levels drop below 1.58 meters, a series of measures will be implemented, starting with positioning vessels to enhance water flow. Further steps involve constructing modular barriers and, if necessary, using high-capacity pumps for additional water supply. Funding for these actions will come from the Ministry of Environment's reserve budget, while other costs will be covered by involved institutions' budgets.
