The Ministry of Finance is launching a new edition of the TEZAUR state bond program, providing individuals with a tax-free savings opportunity. Bonds are issued in dematerialized form with a nominal value of 1 leu. Purchases can be made online or at Treasury units from September 7 to October 2, 2026. Investors can subscribe multiple times and cancel subscriptions during the subscription period. Funds raised will finance the budget deficit and refinance public debt. A guide for transferring funds back to personal bank accounts is also available.
