A new small gas power plant with a capacity of 3 MW is set to begin commercial operations. The Romanian energy regulator ANRE will decide on the license for EM POWER SRL, allowing it to sell electricity. The plant, located in Bucharest, has been tested since February 2026 and is equipped with Jenbacher technology, expected to produce around 20,000 MWh annually. EM POWER SRL is indirectly controlled by the Bîlteanu family through Albertha Enterprises Limited and is part of the Electromontaj Group, established in 1949.
