Parapet and MetaWealth have commenced construction of a 50 MW / 100 MWh battery energy storage system in Dumbrava-Deal, Neamț County. The project includes 20 BESS units and a new high-voltage substation. Civil works are starting alongside equipment delivery, with the aim of commercial operation by spring 2027. This initiative addresses the growing need for energy storage in Romania, enhancing flexibility in the renewable energy market. Parapet aims to expand its energy storage portfolio, while MetaWealth plans to contribute 200 MWh to Romania's energy storage capacity by 2030.
