Nouă baterie de mare capacitate a primit autorizația de la ANRE. Are 230 MWh, tehnologie Tesla și va fi pusă în Brăila - Economica.net
The local subsidiary of Slovenian company NGEN has received authorization to establish a large-scale energy storage facility in Brăila, Romania. The project, managed by ENERGY STORAGE SOLUTIONS S.R.L., will feature a capacity of 230 MWh and a power output of 115.5 MW, connecting to Transelectrica's Lacu Sărat substation. This initiative is part of a broader trend in Romania's energy sector, with ANRE approving over 1,000 MW of new energy projects, primarily focused on battery storage. NGEN is also involved in multiple energy storage projects across Europe, supported by a €70 million loan from the EBRD. The emphasis on storage solutions indicates a significant shift in Romania's energy landscape.
