Nou record la cantitatea de gaze care trece din România în Ungaria

Romania is exporting a record 7.7 million cubic meters of gas to Hungary via the Arad-Szeged pipeline, following recent capacity upgrades. This increase is part of a broader strategy to enhance gas infrastructure ahead of future production from the Black Sea. Hungary, reliant on Russian gas, is diversifying its sources, including potential imports from Azerbaijan and the Black Sea. The interconnector at Csanádpalota will facilitate this transition, allowing for greater gas flow in both directions by 2026. Romania aims to become a net gas exporter by 2027, with significant production expected from the Neptun Deep project.
