Econergy has received authorization to establish its first wind farm in Romania, located in Tulcea County, with a capacity of 35 MW. This project marks a significant expansion for the Israeli company, which has primarily invested in solar parks and energy storage. The authorization was granted by ANRE, requiring the developer to prove financing for construction. Econergy's portfolio in Romania now includes 743 MW of connected capacity and 861 MW under construction. Additionally, the company has secured financing agreements worth approximately 229 million euros for a solar and storage project in Brașov County, further solidifying its position in the renewable energy sector.
