Nou în streaming: Thrillerul de Oscar care i-a adus un mic omagiu unei campioane a României

The Brazilian political thriller "The Secret Agent" is now available for streaming on HBO Max, following its successful cinema release and Oscar nomination. The film, set in 1977 Brazil, follows Marcelo, a technology expert seeking peace during Carnival amidst political turmoil. It subtly pays homage to Romanian gymnast Nadia Comăneci through a photograph included in the film. Directed by Kleber Mendonça Filho, it has received critical acclaim, winning a Golden Globe and multiple awards at Cannes. Despite its accolades, it lost the Oscar for Best International Feature to another film, "Sentimental Value."
