Significant damage has occurred, with over 1,100 homes destroyed and more than 8,000 damaged. Aftershocks continue to be felt, complicating rescue efforts. The international community is providing support, and the Spanish government reported 164 missing Spaniards. The U.S. administration announced a $15.5 million donation to aid Colombia.
