The new Urbanism Code introduces a simplified notification procedure for certain low-impact construction works, effective from August 25. This allows for specific constructions in rural areas and minor interventions on existing buildings without a traditional building permit. The notification must be submitted to the local authority before work begins, using a standardized form published on August 26. Local authorities have 15 working days to respond, with tacit approval possible after this period. However, all works must comply with existing regulations and be completed within three years.
