Norwegian group Scatec ASA plans to triple its global energy generation capacity to 11 GW by 2028, focusing on Europe due to high demand for battery storage. The company aims to expand rapidly in Romania, where it has acquired a 77 MW wind farm and is developing solar and storage projects totaling 350 MW.
