The company aims to expand rapidly in Romania, where it has acquired a 77 MW wind farm and is developing solar and storage projects totaling 350 MW. The European Investment Bank is supporting three solar parks in Romania with €34 million. Scatec's expansion aligns with the growing need for renewable energy projects to include storage facilities, enhancing grid stability. Additionally, Scatec is set to finalize financing for large-scale projects in Egypt within six months.
