Scatec ASA has secured funding for its 77 MW Urleasca wind project in Romania, marking its entry into the European onshore wind market. The project is supported by a Contract for Difference covering about 57% of estimated production. This initiative complements Scatec's existing solar portfolio in Romania, which includes two solar projects totaling 190 MW currently under construction. The total project cost is approximately 168 million EUR, financed through a mix of equity and non-recourse project debt. Construction will be managed by OX2, with operations expected to commence in the second half of 2028.
