Norvegia vrea să limiteze ochelarii inteligenți în spațiile publice, de teama încălcării vieții private • Newsweek România
The Norwegian government plans to temporarily restrict the use of smart glasses in public spaces due to privacy concerns, particularly regarding unauthorized recording. The proposed ban could affect parks, beaches, museums, shopping centers, schools, healthcare facilities, gyms, and public events. The government aims to introduce legislation soon while also exploring permanent regulations. Officials emphasize the need to protect individuals from being recorded without consent, especially in sensitive situations. This move follows growing concerns in Europe about smart glasses, particularly those from Meta, which have been linked to incidents of unauthorized filming. Oslo has already banned such glasses in schools, and calls for stricter regulations are increasing across the EU and the UK.
