Norvegia sechestrează o navă rusească la cererea Ucrainei

Norwegian authorities have seized the Russian cruise ship "Professor Molchanov" in the Svalbard archipelago at the request of Ukrainian energy group Naftogaz. This action is part of enforcing an arbitration ruling requiring Russia to pay approximately $4.22 billion for the illegal confiscation of Naftogaz assets during the annexation of Crimea in 2014. Naftogaz's interim CEO stated this is a significant step towards restoring justice. The seizure was ordered by a Norwegian court to ensure payment of the debt and related costs. The ship is currently anchored in Barentsburg, and local police confirmed the seizure.
