Norofert S.A. has completed a transaction with Expert Agribusiness S.R.L. for the acquisition of fixed assets and intangible assets related to seed research and multiplication, valued at 3.3 million lei. The payment was settled through debt compensation. This acquisition includes a complete line for seed selection and treatment, as well as Romanian genetic lines for corn, sunflower, and wheat. These assets will be used for seed production in Zimnicea for commercialization. The final structure of the deal replaces the initial plan to acquire a 60% stake in the company, allowing direct acquisition of the assets.
