Nopți spectaculoase în octombrie: când pot fi văzute ploile de meteori și „Luna Vânătorului”
Astronomy enthusiasts can enjoy a spectacular month with three meteor showers, starting with the Draconids peaking on Friday. Unlike most meteor showers, Draconids are best viewed in the evening, as their radiant point in the Draco constellation is highest at nightfall. Following the Draconids, the Southern Taurids and Orionids will provide additional viewing opportunities later in the month. The Draconids are expected to peak on October 8 and 9, with ideal conditions allowing for about 10 meteors per hour. The Southern Taurids will peak around October 14, while the Orionids will reach their peak on October 21, with visibility improving in darker areas. The month concludes with the Hunter's Moon on October 26, traditionally significant for hunters.
