Andy Fazekas, president of Crazy Bike MC Sibiu, believes this will ease traffic and urges drivers to not view motorcyclists overtaking as disrespectful. However, Dragoș Năstase, a driving school owner, highlights the risks involved, noting that there were 56 motorcycle-related accidents in Sibiu in the first nine months of the year, including one fatality. While experienced motorcyclists see these changes as positive, instructors stress the need for caution, as unexpected maneuvers can lead to serious accidents. Fazekas emphasizes the importance of driver awareness and careful checking of mirrors before changing lanes, as motorcycles can accelerate faster than cars.
