Dacia will produce new models outside Romania, with Mioveni factory focusing on Duster and Bigster. CEO Katrin Adt confirmed no new projects for Mioveni are currently planned. The second generation of the electric Spring will be manufactured in Slovenia, while the Striker will be produced in Turkey and the next Sandero in Morocco. Dacia aims to develop four electric models by 2030, with the new Spring priced under €20,000. The development involved teams from Romania, France, and Shanghai, shortening the development cycle to under two years. The move to Slovenia allows access to European subsidies and avoids tariffs on electric vehicles from China.
