The Ministry of Finance has launched a new edition of the TEZAUR program, allowing Romanians to invest in state bonds with non-taxable annual interest rates up to 7.15%. This new issuance is available from September 7 to October 2, 2026, featuring bonds with maturities of 1, 3, and 5 years. Investors can purchase these bonds online or at designated Treasury units, with the option to cancel subscriptions during the subscription period. The funds raised will be used to finance the budget deficit and refinance public debt. A digital guide is available to assist investors with the online process.
