These costs, related to cybersecurity investments, will be included in regulated tariffs, potentially impacting consumer bills significantly. Critics argue that the law lacks a proper impact study and that available EU funds should be utilized instead of burdening consumers. The initial proposal included cybersecurity norms for small energy producers, but this requirement was removed in the latest version of the law, focusing instead on distributors and transporters.
