The Ministry of Environment has initiated public consultation on a new funding guide through the Environmental Fund Administration (AFM). The funding can cover up to 95% of eligible costs, prioritizing well-prepared projects that connect new households. Eligible projects include water supply, sewage systems, and wastewater treatment. Local authorities can apply individually or in associations, with funding limits based on population size. A competitive selection process will evaluate projects based on technical readiness and community impact.
