Noi reguli pentru ambalaje în Uniunea Europeană, aplicate din august 2026

New EU packaging regulations, effective from August 2026, aim to reduce material use, enhance reuse, and simplify recycling. The rules require all packaging to be designed for reuse or recycling, with clearer labeling. Producers must minimize unnecessary packaging and include recycled materials in plastic packaging. Certain single-use items will be banned, and restrictions on PFAS in food packaging will be enforced. The regulations promote a circular economy and apply uniformly across EU member states, including Romania.
