On October 7, police conducted 21 home searches in Bucharest and 12 counties related to violent incidents during the September 15 protest in Piața Victoriei. The investigation targets public instigation, assault, and public order disturbances. During the protest, some participants allegedly attacked gendarmes with various objects, leading to injuries and property damage. So far, 38 preventive measures have been taken, including 28 arrests. The investigation is led by the Bucharest Tribunal's Prosecutor's Office, alongside violent crime units. This operation follows previous searches and aims to gather evidence against those involved in the violence.
