New images of the future stadium in Timișoara were revealed by Alfred Simonis, highlighting its features and construction timeline. The stadium will seat over 32,000 spectators and construction is set to begin in spring 2024. It will cover approximately 85,000 square meters and stand 36 meters tall, with two-tiered seating and no athletics track, bringing fans closer to the field. The project includes heated spaces for conferences and commercial use, as well as solar panels for energy independence. The first geotechnical studies are scheduled by the end of September, with machinery expected on-site by spring 2027.
