Noi detalii în dosarul în care este vizat vicepreședintele USR Dâmbovița. Firme-paravan în Germania și Kazahstan, export refuzat de MAE
DIICOT has revealed new details in the case involving Alexandru Munteanu, a vice president of USR Dâmbovița, who was detained for allegedly violating sanctions against Belarus. Prosecutors claim that an industrial machine intended for Belarus was to be transferred through front companies in Germany and Kazakhstan, despite previous rejections of export authorization by Romanian authorities. Munteanu and another individual are accused of coordinating the sale and transfer of a vertical lathe valued at approximately 1.75 million euros, which could potentially be used for military equipment. The investigation focuses on the breach of international sanctions and illegal export operations. Following their detention, prosecutors requested house arrest for the suspects, and USR stated that if the allegations are confirmed, Munteanu could face expulsion from the party.
