Noi detalii despre frauda de la Revolut. Hackerii au folosit adresa unei prefecturi din Italia pentru a obține datele clienților
A significant cyber fraud was orchestrated using the certified email address of the Prefecture of Reggio Calabria. The perpetrators posed as investigators and requested customer data from Revolut, leading to the exposure of sensitive information for 680 clients. The group, named 'IAmNotAVillain', threatened to publish the obtained data unless a financial reward was paid. They crafted their requests to appear as part of an official investigation, referencing a supposed inquiry by the Milan Prosecutor's Office. Despite several red flags, including incorrect protocol numbers, Revolut complied with the requests. The Italian Ministry of the Interior is currently investigating how the fraudsters accessed the certified email address.
