New details have emerged regarding the drone that crossed Romanian airspace, which crashed near Mihăilenii Vechi. Investigators found significant evidence about the drone's type and payload. The drone reportedly had a turbojet propulsion system and was carrying metal balls identified as "destruction elements." The crash created a large crater and ignited four fires in a sunflower field, but no injuries were reported. Romanian authorities issued alerts as the drone was tracked entering from Moldova. It was first detected near Chișinău and later reappeared in Moldova after crossing Romania. Initial reports suggested it was a Shahed drone, but further analysis indicated it resembled a Gheran type.
