Ukrainian anti-corruption investigators have expanded a case involving bribery of local officials for a real estate project in Lutsk, with six suspects now identified. The National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office announced new suspects, including a regional council member and the first vice-president of the council, who allegedly received illicit benefits. Investigators documented the bribery scheme, which involved a former MP offering $140,000 to secure necessary approvals, with over $100,000 intended for regional councilors. The investigation, ongoing since December 2025, has revealed a broader corruption network than initially thought, implicating more local officials.
