Two aerial targets were detected in Ukrainian airspace near the Romanian border, prompting Spanish F-18 aircraft to take off for surveillance. The Romanian Ministry of National Defense reported that radar systems identified the targets, leading to alert procedures being activated. Residents in northern and eastern Tulcea County were informed about the situation through a RO-Alert message. The F-18s monitored the area, but no incursions into Romanian airspace were detected. The alert was lifted after confirming that the activity was confined to Ukraine.
