The tourists were found dehydrated but not lost, while the man had strayed far from marked trails. Rescuers emphasized the need for hikers to choose routes based on their physical condition and to stay informed about trail difficulties. They also warned against starting long hikes in the afternoon to avoid being caught out after dark.
