Severe drought and extreme heat have caused the Danube's water level to drop to historic lows, revealing a well-preserved WWII German motorcycle in Budapest. The DKW NZ 350-1 was found in mud, along with various wartime artifacts, suggesting the area was a war waste dump. Archaeologists also uncovered mines, grenades, and human remains, turning the river into an extensive archaeological site. Other WWII relics, including sunken ships and parts of the Franz Joseph Bridge, have emerged due to the low water levels.
