The Romanian National Bank reported a historic exchange rate for the euro, surpassing 5.35 lei. This marks a significant decline in the national currency's value against the euro. The current rate is 5.3527 lei per euro, up from 5.3306 the previous day, following a political crisis. The previous high was recorded on October 2, at 5.3447 lei. CFA Romania predicts that by the end of 2027, the euro may cost between 5.40 and 5.50 lei, with potential for further increases.
