He highlighted the significance of the European Day of Remembrance for Victims of Nazism and Bolshevism, marking the 87th anniversary of the pact's signing. Peia emphasized the responsibility of the Parliament towards the victims of totalitarian regimes and called for an official stance on the pact's consequences for Romania. He linked the memory of the victims to the current generation's duty to honor their legacy. Peia concluded with a request for a moment of silence in remembrance of those affected by these historical events.
