Despite attempts to fill vacant positions, the board remains unable to meet due to quorum issues, hindering decision-making regarding the director, Elena Mateescu. Buzoianu emphasized that Mateescu was aware of the irregularities and should not remain in her position. The Ministry has faced challenges in appointing interim members, with previous proposals rejected by the Agency for Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Enterprises (AMEPIP). The situation has persisted for months, affecting the administration's ability to address financial misconduct and operational needs.
