Nicușor Dan și Volodimir Zelenski la Forumul Economic al Carpaților

The first Carpathian Economic Forum took place in Bukovel on September 18, 2026, as part of Ukraine's new regional initiative "Group of Eight in the Carpathians." Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Romanian President Nicușor Dan attended the event, which gathered representatives from governments and businesses in the Carpathian region. Zelensky announced investment agreements worth $1 billion, emphasizing the potential for tourism investments. The forum featured an EXPO area showcasing investment opportunities, with 95 projects valued at over €42.5 billion. Cooperation areas highlighted included security, energy, logistics, and tourism. Both leaders stressed the importance of regional collaboration for economic integration and Ukraine's EU aspirations.
