Nicușor Dan: România își consolidează parteneriatul cu SUA prin programe educaționale. 70 de liceeni români vor putea studia în America
The Romanian President, Nicușor Dan, announced that up to 70 Romanian high school students will have the opportunity to study in the USA during the 2027-2028 school year through the FLEX programs, an increase from 20 students last year. This initiative is part of the strengthening educational partnership between Romania and the United States. The FLEX Global and FLEX Global Abroad programs will allow Romanian students to live with American families and study in U.S. schools. Additionally, up to 20 American students will be able to study in Romania. The program not only provides academic benefits but also encourages students to engage in their local communities upon returning to Romania. The scholarships are co-funded by the Romanian Ministry of Education and the U.S. Department of State, with applications now open for interested students.
