Romanian President Nicușor Dan commemorated the victims of the Colectiv nightclub fire by laying a wreath at the site, marking 11 years since the tragedy. He observed a moment of silence for the 65 lives lost and spoke with victims' families. The fire occurred during a concert on October 30, 2015, when pyrotechnics ignited a blaze, resulting in 27 immediate deaths and later 37 more fatalities among the injured. The incident sparked nationwide protests, leading to the resignation of Prime Minister Victor Ponta and Sector 4 Mayor Cristian Popescu-Piedone.
