President Nicușor Dan stated that he cannot guarantee the adoption of the Salary Law by the end of the year, citing failed negotiations. He emphasized the Presidential Administration's role as a mediator in the discussions, which revealed significant discrepancies in financial estimates among stakeholders. Despite the unsuccessful negotiations, he believes the discussions will aid future legislative efforts. Dan acknowledged the need for consensus among political parties, which have collectively accepted the loss of 770 million euros linked to the PNRR milestone.
