Nicușor Dan l-a desemnat pe Luca Niculescu pentru funcția de premier, după consultările de la Cotroceni: „Am ales persoana care are cele mai mari șanse să întrunească o majoritate”

President Nicușor Dan has nominated Luca Niculescu for the position of Prime Minister following consultations at the Cotroceni Palace. Niculescu, a former journalist and ambassador, is currently a state secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The nomination comes after discussions with parliamentary parties did not yield a clear majority. The announcement of the new Prime Minister is expected later today. UDMR has expressed the need for a government with full powers, while PNL remains firm on not joining a government with PSD. Various parties, including USR and AUR, have also participated in the consultations, emphasizing the urgency of resolving the political crisis.
