Nicușor Dan, după discuțiile cu președintele Consiliului European despre viitorul buget UE: ”Ne dorim sume consistente pentru coeziune și agricultură”

President Nicușor Dan met with Antonio Costa, President of the European Council, at Cotroceni Palace to discuss the EU budget and security issues. Costa's visit is part of a regional tour, including stops in Sofia and Athens. Both leaders emphasized the need for an ambitious EU budget to address disparities among member states and support Ukraine. They also discussed the importance of competitiveness and the ongoing EU enlargement process, particularly regarding Moldova's accession. Costa expressed gratitude for Romania's support and highlighted the significance of collective security in the region.
