Romanian President Nicușor Dan is set to discuss maritime security with Bulgarian President Iliana Iotova following recent drone attacks on ships in the Black Sea. The cargo ship AZOV CONCORD sank near Bulgaria after reportedly being attacked, with eleven crew members missing. Meanwhile, another vessel, CHELSEA 3, was also targeted by drones, prompting an evacuation. Bulgaria has requested NATO and EU assistance to investigate these incidents. Iotova emphasized the need for a moratorium on drone use against commercial vessels and highlighted the escalating risks in the Black Sea region due to the ongoing conflict.
