The rating agency reaffirmed Romania's sovereign rating at 'BBB-', indicating it remains an investment-grade country, but with a negative outlook due to budgetary pressures and uncertainties regarding fiscal reforms. Future downgrades could occur if fiscal consolidation measures are not effectively implemented after elections.
