Nicușor Dan convoacă CSAT după atacurile cu drone din Marea Neagră. Ce măsuri sunt luate în discuție? • Newsweek România

President Nicușor Dan has convened the Supreme Council of National Defense (CSAT) to address recent drone attacks on commercial vessels in the Black Sea. The meeting, scheduled for October 22, 2026, will focus on security implications and measures to protect Romania's territorial waters and maritime infrastructure. Recent incidents involved drone strikes on two chemical transport ships near the Romanian coast, resulting in casualties. Additionally, two drones were intercepted by Romanian F-16s after entering Romanian airspace. NATO has responded by enhancing surveillance in the Black Sea region, following concerns over maritime safety. The upcoming CSAT meeting will also include discussions on broader national security issues.
