Nicușor Dan cere menținerea fondurilor UE pentru agricultură

Romania will support a European Union budget for 2028-2034 that maintains funding for cohesion policy and the common agricultural policy, as stated by the Presidential Administration. This position was discussed in a meeting led by President Nicușor Dan ahead of the European Council meeting on October 15-16. The future EU budget will impact investments in infrastructure, agriculture, and regional development. The cohesion policy aims to reduce development disparities among EU regions, while the common agricultural policy supports the agricultural sector and rural communities. Romania will also advocate for funding to enhance EU defense capabilities, particularly in the eastern flank and the Black Sea region, alongside priorities like boosting European economic competitiveness and reducing dependency on external energy and advanced technologies.
