The law, recently adopted by the Senate, allows coal plants to operate until replaced. PSD leader Sorin Grindeanu urged the interim prime minister to renegotiate deadlines with Brussels. Dan emphasized the importance of energy security and Romania's commitments, stating he will use all constitutional powers to ensure the law aligns with national interests and avoids financial losses from the PNRR.
