The law allows high schools to admit students based on the National Assessment results, with a maximum of 50% of places available for entrance exams starting from the 2026-2027 school year. The Senate has decided to repeal the article regarding entrance exams, and the Ministry of Education will issue new guidelines for the examination process. This legislative change affects students who will complete the eighth grade in the 2025-2026 school year.
