Recently, Romania received a €2.5 billion tranche from the SAFE initiative, aimed at military acquisitions. The funds will support various projects, including military equipment and infrastructure development. The Ministry of National Defense plans to execute at least 21 procurement projects under SAFE, with some in collaboration with other European states.
